For card data processing and payments, we use payment service providers.

We collect personal data through the reservation form, where the user enters all the personal data relevant to making a reservation and to our fulfilment of the requested service.
We also collect personal data physically upon a guest’s check-in at the hotel reception.
What personal data is collected?
When booking through the reservation form on our website, we collect the following personal data:
When checking in at the hotel reception, we collect the guest’s first and last name, country, date of birth, type of personal identification document, and personal document number.
Purpose of using personal data
All data obtained in the reservation form is used for processing your reservation and for communication related to the provision of our services; this includes transactional emails necessary for carrying out the contractual agreement between us and the recipient of our services (the guest).
Personal data collected during check-in at the hotel reception is collected to ensure compliance with our legal obligations.
Our website uses a dynamic pricing system that automatically adjusts accommodation prices based on various factors such as demand, date of stay, length of stay, number of guests, hotel occupancy rate, and other market conditions. This system uses automated decision-making to calculate the final accommodation price displayed to the user on the website.
This is data processing necessary for the performance of a contractual relationship (reservation) and is based on our legitimate interest in optimising operations and ensuring competitive pricing. The user has the right to object to such processing and the right to request a human review of the decision if they believe the decision has significant consequences for them.
Data retention period
Personal data may be stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or until the individual withdraws their consent. Upon written withdrawal of consent by the user, the data will be deleted.
Video surveillance
Art Hotel Tartini d.o.o. uses video surveillance. We monitor entrances to and exits from the premises at Tartinijev trg 15.
Video surveillance is carried out to ensure the safety of people (employees and customers), protect property, ensure the security of business premises, control entry into facilities, and investigate criminal acts (based on legitimate interest as defined in point (f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR, in connection with Articles 76 and onwards of ZVOP-2).
Video surveillance is carried out in certain work areas (e.g., the restaurant) only when strictly necessary for the safety of people or property, for the protection of classified information, or for safeguarding trade secrets. Video surveillance assists us in detecting, handling, or resolving incidents, criminal acts, compensation claims, or other claims.
Video surveillance recordings are kept for a maximum of 30 days.
This retention period does not apply to recordings needed for criminal or other official proceedings; in such cases, the data will be kept for the entire duration of the proceedings. Data will be provided to competent national authorities (police, courts, etc.) based on the appropriate decision of competent authorities and in accordance with legal obligations.
Video surveillance is not conducted in a way that would result in specific impacts of processing, nor does it allow for unusual further processing such as transfers to third countries. Video surveillance enables live monitoring of events.
